Have made themselves at home in Chicago with my sister Ann-Marie. After the passing of Rachael and Noel, the house was empty. But now it is over-stuffed with these two dynamic individuals who have taken over the place with no problems.

"Teddy" - just wanted to give you a 3 week update. Teddy is doing great. Her and Peek-A-Boo are nonstop. They love to swim and walk together. Lots of rough-housing in doors that we make them take outside. Peek-A-Boo has let it be known that she is the queen of the house but it is okay for Teddy to be the princess. Blake headed to greener pastures so to speak this past summer. The Leonard's lost their last Crystal Glen male golden, and were on the list for a pup. But they just couldn't stand to live without a dog, so Blake was the perfect fit for this Denver family. He has adjusted to life in the big city and enjoys all the attention he gets, coffee and the paper, that's better than I have it! Sue

Crystal Glen Last Impression

Kiwi had no problems adopting her new family, the Patti's. She is enjoying her new house and playmate. Although we are very happy for the sweetest of girls, we do miss her lots!

Senior Citizen
Was also "snapped" up so to speak. She headed for Chicago to live with two relatives
my sister Ann-Marie and her Crystal Glen cousin "Rachael". It is a very happy trio!

Noel one of our all time leading ladies is looking for the perfect retirement home. Her criteria is for an assisted living space, her own apartment with a pool, spa, and of course a chef! Well she got most of that and a relative a dog relative to live with too. The windy city is suiting this lady just fine!

"Milan was hysterical. She didn't mind her boots one bit. Did the high pony prance when we first put them on, but then ignored them the whole rest of the trip. She raced around and flew off snowdrifts with her orange paws pointed out front like Super Dog. She ran into the deep snow off the trail, chased squirrels, rolled in some rather fresh coyote poop (do they sell dog shampoo in 55 gallon drums?) and generally had a total party. We still think Milan is terrific, in spite of that coyote poop incident. Dogs and dirt, YUCK! It's no wonder I have my carpet cleaning guy on a regular schedule every 6 months."

Ripple |
Hi
Sue, I want to express my appreciation for having a very well trained/obedient dog from Crystal Glen. You and your staff have done an excellent job working with Ripple. Monday evening I had a Bible Study at my house. I let Ripple greet people at the door. When it was time to start the study, I put Ripple in the family room with 2 new toys, including some of her other toys. She whined and that is not normal for Ripple. I moved her to my bedroom, where her crate is and I thought she would happier near her crate. Wrong, she whined - This behavior is very unusual for Ripple. I decided to see how she would react in the living room with 16 people. She sit or laid down by my chair for a hour. She was very happy in the room with the guests and very good. I realize now, she wanted to be included. Ripple is now an official member of the group. One of the members called me Tuesday and requested Ripple sit with her next week. We went to Denver for Christmas and Ripple is an excellent traveler. I highly recommend the seat belt harness. Ripple can either sit up in the seat or lay down. Ripple has filled a very big void in my life. She is definitely "Queen of the House." She has adjusted very well from being around other dogs all day to being an only dog. Thanks again to you and your employees. I highly recommend Crystal Glen to everyone. Linda Clark |
