Elcie Speaker

As you may know we moved down to Texas only two years ago. Nova was very excited but sad because we lost our other dog Shasta. nova is going to turn 12 on July 1st 2005 and she has more energy than ever before. Her smiling face gets our spirits up, even when it's raining outside. Nova went to California with our family during the summer and she seemed to like the idea of wearing a bandana more than a collar. She also liked the idea of swimming in the ocean but we convincer not to. Every time Nova meets a new person she seems to like to shake hands or paws rather than sniff you. Nova went thru a little ruff time in August of 2004. During the summer we noticed that she had a fatty lump on the side of her chest. When she came home from California we immediately went to the vet. The vet told us that he thought it was just a fatty tumor nothing more, but he thought that it would be wise to remove it just in case. Well three weeks later after she had surgery we found out that the mass was actually cancer. After i took care of her for about two weeks, cleaning wounds and making sure that she ate, she had lost 10 pounds and was starting to be herself again. After a month she was back to her old healthy self. On behalf of the Olson family I want that you for our wonderful dog.
